Western Region : Overview

Western Region MapThe Western Region covers a diverse area, including every state west of the Rockies with the exception of Colorado. Horizon Wind Energy maintains over 20 offices across the United States, including the Western Regional Office in Portland, Oregon and Western offices in both Berkeley, California and Ellensburg, Washington, and operating project offices in Arlington, Oregon and Telocaset, Oregon.

Wind energy benefits all of us, with economic benefits and environmentally-sound and domestically-produced electricity. Wind farms bring important economic benefits to rural communities, including creating good-paying jobs, supporting services and generating tax revenue, and boosting local business with spending.  Wind farms also bring important economic benefits to local family farms and ranches, helping them preserve their way of life.

In addition to the economic benefits, Horizon Wind Energy’s wind farms are environmentally sound, and the development of clean, renewable energy sources like wind farms help increase America’s energy independence by producing energy made in the USA.
