Located in the towns of Chateaugay and Bellmont, within the St. Lawrence-Champlain Lowlands that border of the northern boundary of the Adirondack Park, the proposed Jericho Rise Wind Farm would sit amidst the rugged hills of New York’s North Country at elevations ranging from 780 feet to 1,500 feet. The area largely consists of agricultural and rural residential properties. Jericho Rise Wind Farm has a proposed installed capacity of 79 megawatts (MW) - enough to power approximately 24,000 average New York homes with clean energy each year.
